Why Curriculum is Better

The international game of Badminton is advancing with every generation of players.

In weaker Badminton countries, such as those in Pan-America, our coaches, players and fans are not exposed, on a regular basis, to the latest methods of training or the latest technical advances.

The training methods in Pan-America are also very random in that there are no set programs in which to enroll; only individual teachers, who may or may not have the ability to coach YOUR STYLE OF PLAY.

The purpose of the Olympic Masters Program is to gather badminton information from the best countries in the world, specifically China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and Denmark, and offer a comprehensive set of skills to the Pan-American badminton student.

The Olympic Masters Program is a defined method of teaching that covers the basics of many styles of play and allows you to pick and choose from a menu of abilities taken from the latest generation of top players.

It is a program you can count on no matter who is coaching you or where you play.

Where to Learn

The Olympic Masters Program is taught at all ClearOne training Centres and ClearOne supervised programs.

Any student, wishing to participate in the Olympic Masters Program can do so through group lessons or private lessons, taught by a certified ClearOne instructor.

How to Participate

Call ClearOne today and ask to register for the Olympic Masters Program.

You will be scheduled for an evaluation to see which training group fits your level of play, your nearest training location and time requirements.

You will receive a written module and Masters Band upon enrollment into your designated program.

Then show up at the lessons and enjoy!

How to Advance

To advance to a new level of accreditation, the student must pass a supervised “test” by a ClearOne instructor of the appropriate level.

Tests taken before the competitive, physical or theoretical requirements have been completed cannot be used to advance to the next level.

In such cases, the student must take the test over after the appropriate materials, requirements or results have been completed.

Tests are available on the second last day of every ClearOne program. As well, there will be a testing schedule periodically throughout the year and students may enroll for such tests as often as they wish.

Tests have both an objective and subjective component. A student may be failed based on the instructor’s opinion that the techniques, tactical abilities or attitude are not befitting the level of accreditation sought by the student.
